Beef Curry

Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef steak cubes
  • 1 teaspoon Royco garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Royco Beef mchuzi Mix
  • 1 tsp Royco Curry powder
  • 1 lime juice
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 large tomatoes diced
  • 50 grams tomato paste
  • cooking oil
  • 1 bunch fresh cilantro

Get cooking

  1. Generously sprinkle garlic and black pepper on the meat and set aside to marinate for about an hour or two.

  2. In a pan over medium heat, add the oil, then onions and sauté until almost golden-brown.

  3. Add the marinated beef, then cook for about 5 minutes or until you seal the pores (when meat changes color).

  4. Pour the mchuzi mix paste on the beef, mix well then add the minced fresh turmeric, tomatoes and tomato paste.

  5. Cook for another 10-15 minutes or until all the liquid is evaporated, the sauce becomes very thick and coats the beef and the beef is super soft.

  6. Finish off with some lime juice and cilantro then serve.
