Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the boiled meat on high heat for 2 minutes until brown and set aside.
On the same pan sauté the onions until golden brown and caramelized.
Add Royco ginger spice and stir for about a minute then add the Royco garlic spice.
Keep stirring the mixture until you get a deep brown color.
Add the Royco pilau masala spice and salt & continue stirring for a minute.
Mix in the fried beef and keep stirring for another minute.
Add the freshly washed rice and 3 cups of boiled water.
Bring it to a boil then cover.
Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
Cover with foil to seal in the heat and ensure it’s well cooked.
Serve with kachumbari and pili pili wa kukaanga.
