Lentil and Mushroom Bolognaise

Ingredients

  • 1 Knorr Chilli & Smoked Paprika Seasoning cube
  • 1 onion diced
  • 15 ml cooking oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 red peppers
  • 500 grams mushroom chopped
  • 1 cup lentils boiled
  • 3 tomatoes chopped

Get cooking

  1. In a large, thick-based pot with lid, sauté the onion in the cooking oil over a medium heat.

  2. When the onion is soft, add the garlic and peppers.

  3. Add tomatoes continue to cook stirring occasionally, until they are tender, add the Knorr pasty cube.

  4. Add the mushrooms, lentils and stir well.

  5. Cover and allow to cook for about 20 minutes, over a low heat. Don’t allow the pot to boil.

  6. Season with pepper.

  7. Serve over Pasta.
