Liver with Stir fry Rice

Ingredients

  • 500 grams beef liver
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Royco Beef Mchuzi Mix
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 large tomatoes chopped
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 medium-sized green pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic crushed

Get cooking

  1. Peel the liver membrane and soak the liver in milk for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Heat oil on a pan and cook the onions until they’re softened and translucent.

  3. Add the crushed garlic and stir for about a minute.

  4. Add the liver, stir and let it cook for about 5 minutes then add the green bell pepper and cook for a minute.

  5. Add the blended tomatoes and tomato paste and let it cook for two minutes then add the Royco beef mchuzi mix, paprika and cumin powder and let it cook for 2 minutes until the paste is cooked through.

  6. Add some water and let it simmer for 5 minutes

  7. Serve it with some tasty stir fried rice.
