Mchicha

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches mchicha
  • 2 diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup 7% fat cooking cream
  • 2 Royco beef cubes

Get cooking

  1. In a sufuria over medium heat, add half a tablespoon of oil add the onions and cook until soft.

  2. Add the diced tomatoes and cook well for 3 minutes.

  3. Add your shredded/cut mchicha and cook for 5 minutes until the mchicha is soft or has reduced in size.

  4. Crumble in the 2 beef cubes, fortified with iron, stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.

  5. Add cooking cream and cook for another 2 minutes.

  6. Serve with ugali or prefered accompaniment.
