Sukuma Wiki

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches kale
  • 2 bunches spinach
  • 2 tomatoes diced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 Royco beef cubes

Get cooking

  1. In a sufuria over medium heat add half a tablespoon of oil add the onions and cook until soft.

  2. Add the diced tomatoes and cook well for 3 minutes.

  3. Add your shredded/cut sukuma/spinach and cook for 5 minutes until the sukuma/spinach is soft or has reduced in size.

  4. Crumble in the 2 beef cubes, fortified with iron, stir well and cook for another 2 minutes.

  5. Serve with ugali or a prefered accompaniment.
